We are thrilled that you are interested in applying to Palm Beach Philanthropy Tank – a challenge to ambitious Palm Beach County youth philanthropists to present their community betterment programs. Below you will find helpful information about participation requirements and how to successfully complete your application.

Eligibility & Requirements

  • You must be a student enrolled in 7th-12th grade and reside in Palm Beach County
  • You may participate individually, or by forming a team with other eligible students. A team, for the purpose of participating in the Philanthropy Tank, is a maximum of four (4) students. A team should apply on one application. A winning team may execute their program with a larger group if they choose.
  • Media releases must be completed for each applicant and/or team member
  • The Philanthropy Tank main event is March 8, 2017, and finalists must participate to win

Application & Timeline

  • Completed application and submission materials should be e-mailed to by 11:59 p.m. on December 11, 2016
  • You may find useful guidance to assist you in completing your application by viewing our application tutorial video
  • Finalists will be notified by e-mail by January 25, 2017

Proposed Programs

  • Should directly address Palm Beach community issues with innovative solutions.
  • Indirect or more passive solutions, such as fundraising for endowments, capital campaigns or general operating funds, while valuable, are not the goal of Palm Beach Philanthropy Tank.
