A Banner Year

The inaugural year for Palm Beach Philanthropy Tank was a banner year! The program was created under the Advisors For Philanthropic Impact (API) mission of inspiring philanthropic legacy. API successfully cultivated this mission among our youth using the “Main Street Philanthropy” curriculum in several of our areas’ schools.

With our youth again as our focus, Palm Beach Philanthropy Tank was conceived. Even the co-founders, Michael L. Kohner and Evan C. Deoul could not have imagined how successful the inaugural year would be. Nine winning teams had their philanthropic ideas funded, and as importantly, as part of our youth philanthropic education program, the students will be mentored for the next year by both our philanthropist-investors and API coaches.
