Surface 71 is a 501(c)3 student-led organization that strives to reduce plastic use, improve marine habitats and advocate that water is life by providing education, promoting awareness, and engaging young students through beach clean-ups and recycling.

The Surface 71 group has partnered with the Florida Atlantic University – Barb Schmidt Fellowship, S’well Water Bottles, Angari Foundation, and the City of West Palm Beach to advocate for environmental conservation. The group has also installed 6 environmentally friendly water bottle refill stations at Elementary schools around Palm Beach County.
