About This Project
Idea Lab is a student-led program that assists migrant students at the Hope Rural School to gather tools and materials to invent, tinker, and fabricate through hands-on design thinking and construction.
The Idea Lab team has introduced the Elementary students at Hope Rural School to Design Thinking through a unique method: MINECRAFT! Their coursework includes teaching students through the interactive video game. Students are encouraged to design infrastructures through MINECRAFT and then test them out in real-life.
