Philanthropy Tank Alumni Present New Finalists at 10th Anniversary Finals Celebration
Most recently, some of our alumni came to our 10th Anniversary Finals Celebration to present the new finalists for our Year 10 cohort! Daniel Clein of Bricks Busting Boredom (Year 1), Holly Moritz of Horses That Help (Year 2), and Naven Parthasarathy of Hurricane Helping Hands (Year 3) made an appearance on stage to present new CHANGEmakers. They also participated in our Student Expo by sharing of their work over the years since partnering with Philanthropy Tank. Other alumni in the Student Expo includes Surface71 and canCODE. Caitlen Macias of Equal + Empowered (Year 1) is now one of Philanthropy Tank’s Philanthropist Investors, who will be mentoring STEM Squad and Trinkets of Hope!

Where They Are Now

His program provided technology lessons along with gently used and refurbished computers to underprivileged students that lack computers in their households.
Mallory Thomas of Growing Native Oases Made For Engagement (GNOME) (Year 7) is now studying environmental engineering at Colombia University. GNOME is a nonprofit organization continuing to help create community butterfly gardens in underserved communities in Palm Beach County.
