Philanthropy Tank empowers and inspires the next generation of CHANGEmakers by challenging and equipping students to implement sustainable service-driven solutions to problems impacting our community.
OUR PROGRAM
Since our inception in 2015, Philanthropy Tank has awarded over $700,000 in funding to 70+ student-led projects in Palm Beach County, FL (HQ) and Baltimore, MD. Of those programs, approximately 40% have become their own 501c3 nonprofit organizations.
Our CHANGEmakers have created and continue to run organizations that support various areas of impact in their communities.

Hear from canCode Founder, Noah Rubin on how Philanthropy Tank’s support has helped him not only change the lives of others in the community but how his life has been changed through the program. canCode is a Philanthropy Tank student-led program teaching coding to underservered elementary school students. The program aims to spark an interest in computer programming for young minds across South Florida.

$25 – supplies books that support educational programs for DEI
$50 – purchases art supplies to support mental health therapy programs
$100 – purchases native plants to beautify our local communities
$250 – creates a social impact day for one local school
$500 – supplies computers necessary for computer literacy programs
$1000 – creates and provides digital templates, workshops, and workbooks for program participants
$5,000 – supports our team members operationally so that they can provide year-round one-on-one mentoring for our students
