First Year Philanthropy Tank Finalist Donates Hundreds of Pounds of Legos to Palms West Hospital
2016 Palm Beach Philanthropy Tank winners’ projects are bettering our Palm Beach County community in tangible, meaningful ways. Last week, Wellington High School senior Daniel Clein made a lasting impression in Loxahatchee. The Philanthropy Tank alum donated 230 pounds of upcycled Legos and 50 boxes of new Legos to the Children’s Hospital at Palms West.
A 2016 Philanthropy Tank winner, Daniel received $12,000 and a year of mentoring from philanthropist-investor Bill Meyer for his Bricks Busting Boredom, an initiative that collects hundreds of pounds of new and gently used Legos and donates them to area hospitals.
