About our Finals Event

Philanthropy Tank Palm Beach County will host its 10th Anniversary Finals Event Celebration on March 13th at 6 p.m. EST at Kravis Center for the Performing Arts. At the Finals Event, our Student Finalists will present their COMMUNITY IMPACT IDEAS to our PHILANTHROPIST INVESTORS “PI”s for a chance to receive funding and mentorship for a year.

Olympic Heights Community High School

Create For Kids is a program that strives to bring joy into the lives of young cancer patients by creating handmade cards and personalized care packages that are distributed through special visits to hospitals.

Curiosity Crew

Curiosity Crew seeks to share the fun of science through interactive, exciting and educational labs to enrich elementary school students’ education. The mission is to develop an after-school initiative where play has a purpose.

This program will lead a philanthropic campaign aimed at providing essential items for the local homeless population while raising awareness and educating the community.

Music For Memory

Music for Memory is a project for young musicians to reach dementia patients through the power of music to improve memory and cognitive abilities while connecting the seniors to a younger population.

This program is to help children with allergies feel accepted and safe while eradicating the stigma around food allergies. It aims to empower those without allergies to understand the potential severity of a food allergy and become a part of the solution.

TechEase aims to help senior citizens stay safe online by teaching cybersecurity and introducing new technologies.

Trinkets of Hope

Palm Beach County 2022 Finals Event

Philanthropist Investors and Philanthropist Mentors

Our Philanthropist Investors (PIs) are successful entrepreneurs and real-life philanthropists with a proven track record of supporting community initiatives and organizations.

PIs provide their personal financial resources to support our student-led community impact programs. At the Finals Event, student finalists present their concept to persuade the investors that their community impact ideas are worth their requested funding. Philanthropist Investors will select the projects they want to mentor and fund.

Our PIs sometimes call upon Philanthropist Mentors (PMs). The PMs select the student awardees at the Finals Event and provide direct guidance and feedback to students on behalf of the Philanthropist Investor. Throughout one year, the PIs, PMs, and our CHANGEmakers work together to bring their ideas to frui
