About This Project

canCode is a student-led 501(c)3 organization aiming to spark an interest in computer programming for young minds across South Florida.

canCode uses Scratch, a free online programming environment developed by MIT, to teach students the basics of coding.

canCode has reached over 300 students since its inception. They currently hold coding workshops at the Youth Activity Center of Boca Raton, Florence Fuller Child Development Center, Achievement Center, Lois Martin Dixie Manor’s Community Center, and the SOS’s Foster Village in Coconut Creek, and the Boys & Girls Club of Delray Beach.
