About This Project
Hydroponic Harvest is a club out of Spanish River High School that provides fresh produce to food-insecure individuals and families in Palm Beach County through their hydroponic systems.
Since its inception, the club has donated over 7,000 Green Peppers to local food pantries. Hydroponic Harvest also coordinated an assembly on nutrition basics and how high school students can improve their diets with over 300 students in attendance. Since being awarded, the Hydroponic Harvest Club has gained over 100 members who participate in the weekly meetings to build and maintain the hydroponic system.
